Primary school PE & sports provision

Professional PE lessons and school sport for Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Programmes are planned around the needs of each school, the intended curriculum outcomes and the children taking part.

Activities are appropriately differentiated to help pupils of different abilities participate, experience success and continue making progress in an inclusive and positive environment.

Introduction

Support can be arranged as regular curriculum delivery, a block of lessons or additional school-sport provision. The content, year groups and intended outcomes are agreed with the school before delivery begins.

Curriculum PE lessons

Planned and progressive PE lessons for Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, with clear learning intentions and activities suited to the age and development of the pupils.

After-school and lunchtime clubs

Active and engaging clubs that give children additional opportunities to participate in sport, develop skills and enjoy being physically active beyond their curriculum lessons.

Multi-sport and enrichment days

One-off or short-block programmes incorporating a range of sports, team challenges and physical activities to support enrichment weeks, themed days or wider school events.

Inclusive and adapted activities

Space, equipment, rules and levels of challenge can be adjusted to support different needs. The aim is to help every pupil participate meaningfully rather than simply complete the same activity in the same way.
