James Walker
J W Football Coaching is led by James Walker, known to players and families as Jay. He is a UEFA B Licensed coach with a BA (Hons) degree in Sport and Leisure Management and more than 20 years of experience coaching and developing children.
Since 2010, James has delivered curriculum PE and school sport within primary education. This has given him a detailed understanding of how differently children learn, build confidence and respond to challenge.
His coaching combines clear technical detail with patience, encouragement and purposeful practice. Sessions are structured to give children meaningful time with the ball while helping them develop confidence, decision-making and a genuine enjoyment of football.

Every session is underpinned by experience, continued professional development and a genuine commitment to helping children enjoy sport, build confidence and reach their potential. My qualifications enable me to plan safe, purposeful and inclusive activities, while adapting sessions to suit different ages, abilities and individual needs.
